Do I need to download anything?

No. Idle Guilds runs in any modern web browser — just open it and play. Steam and mobile versions are planned for later.

An idle (or 'incremental') game keeps progressing while you're away: you queue up skilling, combat, and crafting, then check back as your character grows. The MMO part means a shared, living world with a real player-driven market and guilds.

Is it like Melvor Idle or Idle Clans?

If you enjoy those, you'll feel at home. Idle Guilds blends the deep skilling of Melvor Idle with the live economy and clans of Idle Clans — plus hand-animated 'living' skill scenes of its own.

Will my progress be wiped?

It's an early closed alpha, so occasional resets are possible as systems change. If a wipe is coming, we'll always warn the community on Discord first.

Can I play on mobile?

It works in mobile browsers, but it's best on desktop today. Installable apps are on the roadmap.
